Vietnam web design: Cambodia, Laos, VN discuss joint website

Representatives from Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam gathered in Hanoi Friday to discuss a draft cooperation agreement on management and operation of their joint website.

The website was initiated by the Vietnamese Ministry of Planning and Investment to promote cooperation and development between the three countries, particularly in the triangle development area.

The draft agreement focuses on regulations on management and operation of the website, including administration, editing, provision and checks of information and data posted on the website.

Under the agreement, information provided by each country on the website will be in line with the web page’s purpose as well as laws and regulation-related of each country, and will not bring harm to the independence, sovereignty, territorial integrity or benefit of each country, while promoting friendship and cooperation for development between the three countries or one of the three with the others.

PM’s activities to be broadcast on website

A team of three television reporters have been permitted to follow activities of the Government and the Prime Minister to broadcast them on television and on the Government’s website.

This special programme, named Vietnam Online, will be produced under the management of the Editor in chief of the Government’s website.

Vietnamese people, overseas Vietnamese and international audiences can see activities of the Vietnamese government, the Vietnamese Prime Minister as well as ministries, sectors and provinces of Vietnam through Vietnam Online programme, which is jointly produced by the Government’s website and the digital television station, VTC.

The programme will be available on the Government’s website at www.chinhphu.vn and on VTC5 channel everyday.

The programme has two senior advisors, former Deputy Prime Minister Vu Khoan, special envoy of PM Nguyen Tan Dung, and former Chairman of the Government Office Doan Manh Giao. Chairman of the Government Office Nguyen Xuan Phuc directly supervises the programme.

This is a news programme in the form of video clips, with three major parts: the Government and the Prime Minister’s activities; hot news from ministries, sectors, and provinces; and new policies and their influence on daily life and the social – economic development of the country.
